Abstract

En este artículo se describe como funciona el protocolo Flexray. La demanda de redes de comunicaciones automotrices está sufriendo una  rápida evolución donde el estándar requerido deberían ser sistemas electrónicos más rápidos y confiables para el vehículo. El diseño de redes automotrices en vehículos está influenciado por varios factores, como 
el ancho de banda, las propiedades en tiempo real, la confiabilidad y el costo. FlexRay es un protocolo activado por el tiempo que puede satisfacer estas especificaciones. Puede funcionar como un sistema  de dos canales. El software CANoe es utilizado por  diseñadores de sistemas, integradores de sistemas, desarrolladores de redes y ECU, y con fines de prueba  en todas las fases del proceso de desarrollo.

Abstract

In this paper is described how the Flexray protocol works. The demand for automotive communication networks is suffering a rapid evolution where the required standard should be faster and more reliable electronic systems for the vehicle. The design of automotive networks in vehicles is influenced by several factors, such as bandwidth, real-time properties, reliability, and cost. FlexRay is a protocol triggered by the time that can satisfy these specifications. It can operate as a dual channel system. The CANoe software is used by system designers, systems integrators, network developers and ECUs, and for testing purposes in all phases of the development process.
