Gestión de los residuos electrónicos y eléctricos: propuesta de creación de punto limpio para el óptimo manejo de los RAEE

Resumen

Background: In recent years, environmental pollution has become very important due to the high rate of waste generated worldwide. It is worth noting the negative impact that electronic and electrical waste now has on the environment, and the lack of adequate control of these wastes. However, in developed countries, there are places responsible for the proper management of these wastes. Currently in Ecuador, the so-called clean points are not easily accessible due to their location, but these are very beneficial and of utmost importance. Objective: The ob-jective of this work is to present a proposal for the creation of a clean point, which will be responsible for the reception of unused electronic and electrical devices for their correct dismantling and classification. Method: The startup methodology was used, which allows us to create a proposal model for the development of the clean point where we address important points such as the classification of the waste that arrives at the site, and the correct disassembly of the devices. Results: It can be observed that with the implementation of this clean point, there will be a positive impact on the environment, as well as on the development of skills of the people in charge of the place, in addition to acquiring new knowledge and preparing to improve the dismantling process. Conclusions: The results obtained allow us to reach conclusions about the impact that the development of this proposal will have in real life, in addition to allowing us to identify how interested people are in environmental care.
