Resumen

Currently, mobile devices have become an essential tool, so several services from different fields have had to adapt to mobile environments in order to improve and facilitate certain processes, and the field of medicine has not been the exception. A viable and healthy alternative to conventional medicine is natural medicine, which consists of plant-based treatments. However, most applications with this approach are limited to statically descri-bing information about the benefits of medicinal plants. In order to improve aspects of experience, trust, and lan-guage, a mobile application is proposed that allows recommending medicinal plants according to the person's sym-ptoms through the use of Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN). The process began with the search and selection of previous works; furthermore, for the development of the mobile application, the use of an agile methodology and several tools is proposed. The implementation of the app will help relieve people's ailments quickly and relia-bly.
