Development of DTT applications with GINGA-J

Abstract
This article introduces the events that led to Ecuador's adoption of the ISDB-Tb standard for digital terrestrial television and analyzes the Ginga middleware, especially Ginga-J, for developing interactive applications. Finally, it presents an application developed using Netbeans.
