Design and implementation of an electronic baropodometry system for children
Main Article Content
Abstract
This project is focused on implementing an Electronic Baropodometry System for children with foot size 28. The system comprises a pair of instrumented insoles, a data acquisition card connected to the insole, and a Bluetooth device that sends the signals to a computer for processing. Tests have been carried out with children of both genders, and their results have been evaluated by a doctor specializing in pediatric physiotherapy, who has satisfactorily evaluated the system since it has made it possible to detect anomalies in the footsteps of patients who present problems in walking, grading as optimal for foot size 28.
