Design and implement level control systems for five hydrocarbon pumping tanks with radar-type sensing at the Shushufindi station - EP PETROECUADOR
Main Article Content
Abstract
This article was developed for implementation in phases according to the Deming Cycle. It developed an on-off level control system with hysteresis in the hydrocarbon storage tanks at the Shushufindi Header Station of the Shushufindi-Quito Pipeline of EP Petroecuador, having the Osayacu Station of the same pipeline as a test base. In addition, a fully automated system was designed using PID control as a possible solution to the gradual modernization process of the plant, along with a human-machine interface (HMI) proposal following international ergonomic design standards.
